Anxiety & overwhelm
Racing thoughts, tension, feeling it's all too much. Understanding what's underneath and finding ways to settle.
Integrative, one-to-one psychotherapy for adults with Volha Byrne. A calm, grounded space for your mind and your body.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I don't rely on a single method. I draw on a range of approaches to shape a personalised way of working that feels right for you and genuinely helps. Our work is built on respect, connection and collaboration: a safe space to explore your life experiences without judgement, and to find your way towards meaningful change that lasts.
Racing thoughts, tension, feeling it's all too much. Understanding what's underneath and finding ways to settle.
Space to feel and carry loss of any kind: a person, a relationship, a version of life you'd hoped for.
Difficulties with partners, family or those closest to you, and the pressures and challenges of being a parent.
When emotional distress shows up physically, as tension, pain or exhaustion. Working with the body as well as the mind.
Feeling lost, unvalued or unsure of yourself. Support and empowerment to find your footing again through life's challenges.
I also work with life transitions, distress, emotional overwhelm, women's health challenges, fertility issues, back-to-work stress and many other challenges. I work one-to-one with adults.
I'm an integrative psychotherapist, and I am also a pharmacist and a yoga and somatics teacher. I bring my professional knowledge and extensive experience into the therapy room, because I believe our mental, emotional and physical health are closely interconnected.
In therapy with me you can expect warmth, confidentiality and a genuine interest in understanding your journey, with the aim of helping you move forward.
I work integratively and have a unique multi-disciplinary background.
My experience as a community pharmacist allows me to hold a science-based understanding of our health, physiology and how medication and mental health interact.
My yoga and somatics teacher background gives me a deeper understanding of how stress is held in our bodies and how it affects our health. My experience gives me practical tools for nervous system downregulation, grounding and stress reduction.
My crossover knowledge and years of experience working with people allow me to deliver therapy in a unique, holistic way that is client-centred and individual.
